Job Description

Salient CRGT seeks an experienced Contracts Associate to work at our Corporate office in Fairfax, VA.

The ideal candidate must have experience processing all types of agreements, such as Teaming, Service, Licensing and Non-disclosure. Other responsibilities include successfully managing an assigned, sizable portfolio of Federal customers, prioritizing tasks and ensuring maintenance of all contract files using the Life-cycle Approach for all actions.

In this role, you'll also utilize excellent reading and language comprehension, effective communication (verbal and written) and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

5 years of related experience, to include:
Working with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy.
Coordinating actions with internal procurement and legal teams if needed.
Reporting status of current contract processes to management.
Resolving any existing contract conflicts.
Creating language standards and rules for existing and new contracts.
Serving as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
Negotiating terms, conditions and pricing, and ensure they are accurately executed and satisfied.
Following up to guarantee contractual payments have been made.
Analyzing potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization.
Attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
Knowledge and understanding of legal requirements involved in specific contracts with the knowledge of what laws, regulations or codes apply to each contract action, Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and other regulations needed for processing a contract award.
Experience in managing contracts for Firm Fixed Price (FFP), All Cost-type awards, Time and Materials (T&M), Level of Effort.
Computer savvy with experience using MS Office software (Including MS Excel) and Project Management Tools.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration or any other related fields. Four years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a degree. Qualifications
