Manages membership database and is responsible for accurate and timely processing of new and renewed memberships, using membership database software program (currently Salesforce), and the mailing of information and membership cards to members. Answers phones, greets walk-in customers and responds to questions about the Film Society website, films and film screening times. Also assists customers with understanding the online ticket ordering procedures and processes payments received in addition to managing the membership database entry and reporting.
Non-retail or food service business experience and the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required. Experience using membership database software such as, or similar to, Salesforce is also preferred. Attendance and accuracy is critical.
The position is currently part-time (20 hours/week, M-F afternoons), however it may grow to full-time for the candidate with the required skill set and proven ability to perform. References are required.
