TSTC is currently seeking an Advanced Analytics Consultant. This role focuses on data mining, modeling and visualization. The Advanced Analytics Consultant will research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis as well as implementing statistical methods as needed for specific models or analysis. They will identify data sources and build data sets to perform statistical analyses, perform model assessment, validation and enhancement, create what-if scenarios and develop algorithms to forecast and predict out comes. This role requires energy, ability to solve complex problems, drive to dig deeper into problems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, self-initiated environment.

Essential Functions:
Data mining, modeling and visualization of future outcomes through research and development of statistical learning models.

Structure, organize and implement opportunities to optimize future performance within the division through the use of a variety of data tools and resources.

Identify data sources and build data sets to perform statistical analyses, perform model assessment, validation and enhancement, create what-if scenarios and develop algorithms to forecast and predict outcomes.

Demonstrate extraordinary customer service through the delivery of data models and requests that align with both current and future needs of the division/department.

Constantly interface with external stakeholders to build data models as needed. Create predictive data models with limited information from stakeholders using data and critical thinking.

Knowledge and application of analytical tools and methods, mining techniques; ability to construct and analyze data sets to answer business questions and forecast future outcomes.

Create a library of dashboards, statistical and analytical reports, and interactive data visualizations using a wide variety of techniques and platforms

Apply reconciliations of various data sets to ensure accuracy of data elements and files utilized within the division for various reporting.

Support ad-hoc projects, analysis and other duties as assigned.

Interpret data in relation to organizational and departmental strategic goals from a variety of sources and create visual ways to communicate data to varying audiences.

Some travel may be required.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field

3-5 Years of experience in a data intensive environment

Proficient experience in SQL and Microsoft Excel, Access required

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, SAP) at least one required

Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling and forecasting data

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must possess good problem-solving skills.
Skilled in research methodology and design of data.

Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency and be flexible and efficient time management with the ability to work under stressful.
Provide exceptional customer service when communicating with the public and with employees at all levels in the organization.

Annual Salary:
Dependent on skills and experience.
