Vistra has an immediate opening for a Targets Analyst to join our team at US Central Command - Joint Cyberspace Center (JCC). The Targets Analyst provides target development analysis for US Central Command Joint Cyberspace Center. Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on target development and the joint targeting cycle.
Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Provides target development analysis for US Central Command Joint Cyberspace Center.
Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on target development in accordance with CJCSI 3370.01C “Target Development Standards” and JP 3-60 “The Joint Targeting Cycle”. Routinely engages in analyzing target systems to support the selection and matching of potential targets against the Commander’s objectives to achieve desired effects.
Has a basic understanding of telecommunications networks and supports the target development of adversary command and control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) networks.
Understands the basic characteristics of the cyberspace domain and how target development relates to the physical and logical layers for military operations.
Conducts research of Intelligence Community websites and tools for relevant multi-intelligence discipline data/products (GEOINT, SIGINT, All-Source, HUMINT) related to target development assignments while maintaining product currency, integrity, and operational applicability.
Establishes intelligence requirements necessary for the analysis performed in target development to include collection and exploitation requirements.
Conducts detailed analysis to characterize the function, criticality, and vulnerability of each potential target, linking targets back to targeting objectives and MOEs.
Creates and submits target development nominations for vetting within the Intelligence Community and for validation to meet military operations requirements.
Provides target development expertise to planning efforts in constructing targeting strategies and selecting targets for development to meet objectives.
Prolific in the use of Military Integrated Database (MIDB) for electronic target folder creation and development.
Understands data management, posting, updating, and consolidation. Understanding system architecture and impact on targeting operations.
Develop TTPs for resolving systems outages or issues. Assist in system integration improvements.
Must be proficient in the use of targeting applications and intelligence analysis tools.
Must understand target systems analysis and target development.
Be able to deploy to the AOR; possibly on a recurring basis.
Be proficient in the use of GETS, Google Earth, MIDB, JTT, Intellink, Sharepoint, Palantir.
Must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of targeting experience or 4-8 years of DoD intelligence experience. 15 years of relevant intelligence experience may substitute for no degree.
