KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, IT Security Monitoring and Response to join our Digital Business Transformation organization.
Lead efforts to assess vulnerabilities and to assign vulnerability mitigation scores where possible
Track and report all vulnerability mitigation efforts
Track and report on security threats, events, incidents, vulnerabilities and remediation
Provide hands-on support for VM tools and interface with KPMG technical teams, business groups, and internal/external auditors to answer questions and provide documentation and/or evidence
Scan the environment for known vulnerabilities; work with system owners to remediate; validate vulnerability scanning results and false positives; performing vulnerability assessments using vulnerability assessment tools
Support incident response process. Implement vulnerability management strategies in cloud, mobile, and virtual infrastructures
A minimum of five years of Security monitoring experience and incident response activities; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment, experience with IT process definition and / or improvement
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
Experience leading IT Security Teams and Projects
Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
CISSP, Splunk, Cloud and Qualys Cloud Platform experience is preferred
