I. Job Summary
As a member of the Digital Embedded Business Partners team, lead the definition and execution of the employee journey, prioritizing on the most impactful capabilities by role. This role will operate across Digital departments and interact with key stakeholders across the business teams including Call Center, Sales, Billing and Collections.
This role will achieve success by executing on the following strategy:

Developing strong partnerships with business team to make exceptional employee digital experiences

Having a focus on WM’s customers and producing the employee experience needed to best serve them

Increase alignment between the Digital organization and the business
II. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

Enable evolution of the digital strategy roadmap. Partner with business and digital stakeholders to facilitate development of Digital roadmap for employee facing technology

In collaboration with business and other members of Digital team, define the employee journey maps and definition of the releases with maximum benefits for the employee and customers.

Partner with business owners to measure the day-to-day technology experience improvements based on key digital initiatives

Improve collaboration and transparency between the business and the Digital organization

Drive innovation through in-depth knowledge of business needs and processes

Partner with the business owners in conducting the required fact gathering and analysis necessary to document, quantify and specify process re-engineering efforts

Assist in business transformation - change the current state into a more effective and efficient future state aligned to goals and objectives with focus on both employees and customer
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
Ideally this is a role that works with resources elsewhere (e.g. within Digital departments and business) to accomplish objectives without any direct supervisory responsibilities.
IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Technology or Business Administration, and four or more years’ previous experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Operations / business knowledge & judgment: Good understanding of WM’s operations and service capabilities, or an ability to become a quick study, that translates this knowledge into an employee journey with an inventory and prioritize capabilities based on benefits to the employee and customer. Successful candidate will have a reputation for exercising sound judgment on a day-to-day basis

Organized and structured: Track record of being highly organized and structured in approach, ideally with experience in defining and delivering process or technical improvements

Communication: Very strong oral and written (incl. PowerPoint) communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize and tailor complex material into simple and easily digestible content by experts and non-experts alike, including Corporate and Area stakeholders and the senior leadership

Peer-like attitude : The successful candidate will have a track record of proactively speaking up and constructive dissent, where a contrarian opinion is held. Individual will also be comfortable interacting with multiple levels of management at both Corporate and Area on an “as needed” basis

‘Can do’ mindset: A proactive, can-do mindset that enables independent definition and pursuit of opportunity

Collaboration : Ability to partner with stakeholders in Customer Experience, Sales, Shared Services, Pricing, Operations, Digital and other functions to improve our employees experience

Dispute resolution: Ability to combine all qualities above to resolve most day-to-day disputes independently and without more senior executive support
