**Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Stock Supervisor to manage the inventory of our grocery store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, with a focus on grocery store operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and organized storage and distribution of products throughout the store. **Responsibilities:** - Oversee the daily inventory management process, including receiving and stocking shipments of groceries and other products. - Utilize an RF scanner to accurately track and manage inventory levels. - Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure the store's inventory is accurate and up-to-date. - Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles as necessary. - Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and loading dock area. - Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to the store. - Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks as needed. - Package and prepare products for shipment to other locations or customers. - Provide excellent customer service and support to other store employees. - Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking. - Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed, and that all safety protocols are adhered to. - Participate in inventory planning and ordering to ensure the store has the necessary products to meet customer demand. **Qualifications:** - 2+ years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment. - Proven experience with inventory management and stockroom operations. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to lift and move heavy packages and boxes. - Familiarity with RF scanners and other inventory management tools. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment. - High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred.
