What we want you to accomplish:
Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
Complete warehouse operation requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, corrective action, planning, monitoring and apprising job results

Core Activities:
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems
Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements
Develop and own shipping vendor relationships; coordinate distribution needs for peak season
Develop cycle count process
Drive physical inventory process
Perform all other duties as assigned

Success Indicators:
Previous success leading lean operations to include training and coaching front line associates
Demonstrate ability to lead a mid-size manufacturing facility operation on two shifts with seasonal production flow
Proven ability to manage budgets, conduct detailed staffing analysis and implement new programs in a manufacturing environment
Multiple examples of lean projects and initiates successfully executed with measurable cost and time savings
Outstanding decision-making skills and ability to work well with numbers
Significant experience in collecting and analyzing data
Excellent leadership capabilities and communication skills
Well organized and detail oriented
A strong sense of urgency and desire to exceed customer expectations
Ability to maintain positive attitude in fast pace environment

Education / Certifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, fingering, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking
Reading, communication, simple math
Be able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above
