Love social media. Don’t just be the team’s social media expert (which obviously you must be)...be the social media evangelist, too.
Take a lead role in managing and creating exciting social media strategies with internal / external resources.
Help define audacious audience growth goals and own the creation of the roadmap to reach those goals.
Resource, plan, and growth-hack. Constantly analyze our current processes, systems, and tools - all the while, remaining scrappy and hungry!
Grow and manage Brainjolt’s social media resources. We’re looking for your thought-leadership in taking social to the next level
Oversee the creation and posting strategy of measurably awesome content across Brainjolt’s social media accounts, maintaining and strategically improving the “voice” of Brainjolt brands in the process.
Take the lead on driving organic traffic to Brainjolt properties through our social media accounts.
Understand best practices and evangelize them. Find and implement clever tricks as you strategize new ways to grow social media followers and increase engagement.
Stay absolutely up-to-date on Facebook (and other) algorithm updates and emerging trends in order to optimize for subject matter, frequency, and timing of posts. You must be a platform expert.
Understand our competitors and how they’re using social media. Imitate as necessary. Innovate beyond them.
Train internal and external resources who are using social media for Brainjolt. Make sure they’re on top of any changes in algorithms and general trends.
Own all social analytics. Analyze audience behavior on Brainjolt’s sites and social platforms in order to see and share trends and then make informed recommendations when collaborating with other teams.
Provide audience insights to editorial teams to help guide content creation.
Make data-driven recommendations for Brainjolt as a whole based on the engagement patterns of social audiences.
Deliver regular audits of Brainjolt’s entire social media presence to ensure we are using every account as strategically as possible.
Create engaging reports to track progress and present data.

3-5+ years in a social media position
Expertise in relevant social media platforms and their algorithms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest)
Experience with large scale social media accounts (minimum 10 million followers total) and strategic growth of at least 25%
Experience at a digital agency, publisher, eCommerce/SaaS company preferred
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Strong, data-centric analytical skills
Can apply lateral thinking to generate new solutions
Clear and clever written and verbal communication skills
A love of working in a fast paced environment
Self-starter, avid problem solver, energetic go-getter
