Our fast paced, dynamic sourcing and contracts team is looking for a talented leader for our construction categories. This position will lead a team that supports Corporate Properties Group’s Construction Management Office and all of the sourcing and contracting needs associated with large, transformative construction projects. This role reports to the Head of Corporate Properties Group Procure-to-Pay within the Global Supply Chain team.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Wells Fargo is currently seeking a Construction Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Strategic Sourcing professionals to align and execute enterprise sourcing strategies and supplier capabilities to achieve Corporate Properties Group (CPG) business objectives. The successful candidate will become a valued advisor to CPG leadership by developing a strong working relationship with assigned Corporate Properties customers, suppliers and internal departments and obtaining a thorough functional knowledge of the organization, performance measures and information flows. This person will lead the negotiation of legal and business contract terms and conditions with vendors, and supports other team members in their vendor negotiations and manage vendors and relationships from a life-cycle perspective with a focus on identifying new sources and technologies, reducing cost/spend, increasing customer satisfaction, and maximizing business impact. Additionally they will be responsible for managing a team of category experts that has responsibility for Corporate Properties Group supplier initiatives, negotiations, and contracting activities. Oversees Strategic Sourcing management life cycle activities and identifies new sources and technologies as business requirements evolve.

Additional responsibilities include:
Learns and understands the construction project workflow within Corporate Properties and uses this understanding to ensure the operational requirements in Wells Fargo’s construction contracts continue to align with Corporate Property Group’s processes and procedures.
Develops an end-to-end understanding of the various construction approaches undertaken by the Corporate Property Group.
Implements process disciplines and management systems.
Will be accountable for execution of annual cost savings program and implements business strategies that directly affect company financial results.
Participates in the development, recommendation, and implementation of Strategic Sourcing policies, strategies, and processes to optimize sourcing efficiencies and measure supplier performance.
Assists in the design and development of tools and process improvements to optimize sourcing efficiencies and measure supplier performance. Supports governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and compliance with corporate legal and regulatory policies.
Maintains current understanding of various industry best practices, commodity/spend category benchmarks, and supplier capabilities.
Leads a team that supports Corporate Properties Group in a variety of procurement categories in addition to construction, including food services and vending, fitness centers, furniture, asset preservation projects, and international sourcing and procurement.

Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in direct sourcing, contract management, or a combination of both
2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of contract negotiation
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sourcing methodology
A BS/BA degree or higher
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree
5+ years of contract negotiation and pricing experience
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

Experience with AIA contracts
Construction, insurance and liability expertise

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
