Tectonic is currently seeking a full-time Data Entry Specialist within our Newport Beach, CA Office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions of this position include performing accounting and project data input, which will include providing support with purchase orders, invoices, and project specific trackers. The Data Entry Specialist will also perform updates as needed in multiple databases. In addition, they will perform various office duties, including phone reception, scanning, copying, filing, mailing and other related tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 1 year of related experience is required, with the ability to work in a professional office environment;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Microsoft Excel;
Must possess a HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree is a plus;
Must be detail-oriented, as accuracy is essential, with strong organizational skills;
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well in a fast-paced environment;
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

In order to perform the essential functions of this position, the candidate must be able to constantly assume a stationary position, and must utilize equipment to perform necessary tasks, sometimes repetitively. The candidate must be able to occasionally maneuver within the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and may exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. Frequently, they must be able to receive and convey detailed or important information with others via the Corporate e-mail system and telephone system, and in person.
