The Information Security Risk Management Domain team currently has a great opportunity for an individual with Risk Management experience. This role will work to refine the overall Information Security Risk Management program, strategy and domain materials and will serve as a point of contact across the organization for consistency of Risk Management oversight activities.

This role supports business activities as they pertain to issue remediation, oversight of projects and programs and will work across the Information Security teams to ensure tools and capabilities meet the requirements of the organization. This role will have responsibility for the implementation of new tools, processes, and metrics in support of the Risk Management Domain.

Primary responsibilities include:
Designing and building program elements
Participating in the implementation of program changes across the enterprise
Active participation in audit and regulatory issue remediation
Creation and maintenance of program document(s) and strategy material
Engaging and coordinating with other teams within Enterprise Information Security (EIS) to ensure Risk Management Domain activities are completed within required Service Level Agreements (SLA)
A successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring risk-based programs to identify, assess and mitigate risks that may arise from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems and/or external events, while maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency. The candidate will work with complex business units and will provide Information Security risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with high risk. The candidate will evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and controls and may analyze business and/or system changes to determine impact. The candidate will develop reports detailing findings and will work to develop business cases to influence senior management on the need for controls to mitigate risk. The individual will manage and/or coordinate production of periodic operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended strategies.

This is a remote position; all locations will be considered.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of financial services experience
2+ years of information security experience
6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

Knowledge and understanding of information security risk assessment procedures, risk mitigation or remediation

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
Experience consulting with internal clients and business
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
