Under general direction of the Training Program Manager, this position provides day-to-day administrative and program support to HR Talent Management and Development, Staff Development and Professional Services (SD&PS) and WorkLife units. This position serves as the initial point of contact to clients and is responsible for resource and referral functions as well as keeping units informed of critical issues. The incumbent is responsible for information management, website development and maintenance, and editing of publications for print and electronic distribution. This position interacts directly with faculty, staff, students, affiliates, campus units, service vendors and the general public.

Physical Demands:
Move/manipulate supplies and equipment of various weights (up to 25lbs) using a cart and/or hand truck.

Work Environment:
Variable working hours between 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. depending upon daily program schedule.

Regular travel by foot, bike or vehicle to transport supplies and materials to various locations on campus and to attend meetings and events.

Background Check Required:
This position is a critical position and subject to a background check. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background investigation including criminal history and identity checks.

Minimum Qualifications:
Administrative office experience supporting management in a business environment.

Experience managing multiple complex electronic calendars and scheduling, including large meetings with diverse client groups.

Experience to prepare and edit correspondence, project documents, reports, and informational documents.

Extensive experience and high-level skills using word processing, spreadsheets, design, web development and database management programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web development software.

Highly-developed customer service and interpersonal skills to disseminate information and provide assistance for the appropriate target audience in person, by telephone and in writing.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills to anticipate and identify issues, evaluate information, analyze trends and propose actions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Skill to learn, communicate and apply policies, procedures and standards related to the Staff Development and Professional Services and WorkLife programs.

Experience or knowledge with complex learning management system for data entry, data modification, report generation and statistical querying.

Experience in conceptualizing, designing, preparing copy for and producing promotional literature.
