Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an Admission Processing Coordinator. The Admission Processor is responsible for building and maintaining electronic files for all incoming SNHU online students. The Admission Processor will also generate and mail application documentation, provide internal support for new student administrative support, and prepare statistical reports as needed. The Admission Processor will follow established SNHU policies and procedures as well as adhere to the directive of Enrollment Support Services (ESS) leadership. Admission Processors are in constant contact with co-workers, Evaluators, Admission Counselors, as well as external departments and should possess strong customer service skills. The Admission Processor will need to be highly accurate in the building of applicant files with no more than 2% error rate and must be able to quickly identify and prioritize demands.
Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
Retrieval and processing of all electronic admission requirements
Requesting transcripts (TRF’s) on behalf of all incoming applicants
Providing TRF follow-up
Processing all incoming transcripts
Scanning and imaging admission documents to digital format
Tracking and verifying all required admission documentation until file is complete and ready for evaluation
Have accurate and efficient data entry skills, and show exceptional attention to detail
Use sound judgment and adhere to existing policies and procedures
Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet 24 hour turnaround time
Possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, while having a positive and professional demeanor
Have the ability to effectively navigate and utilize Microsoft Office, as well as being comfortable with learning new computer programs
Assist with commencement ceremonies and reception events
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1 to 2 years administrative experience in higher education or equivalent experience
Typically Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with one day per week (M-Th) 11:30am-8:00pm.
