Asbestos Workers/Supervisors
We are an established environmental remediation firm located in Providence County of Rhode Island. We work in both the residential and commercial industries, as well as certain State/Federal principalities throughout RI, MA, and CT. We have immediate openings for:
- Asbestos Workers (32 Hour or 40 Hour Asbestos Supervisor License required)
- Asbestos Shop Workers
We are willing to train individuals with strong work skills; however, preference will be given to candidates who possess the following certifications/experience:
- Valid Abatement Supervisor or Worker licenses (MA, RI, CT)
- Current 40 Hour and Subsequent 8 Hour Asbestos Training Refresher Certificate
- Valid Asbestos Physical/Fit Tests (Ability to Wear PPE)
- OSHA 10 (or greater) Certificate
- Operating surface prep machines (diamond grinders, Blastrac shot blaster)
- Preparing Asbestos Containments according to all State/Federal Regulations
Additional requirements:
- Abatement, construction/mechanical experience
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivated
- Punctuality, Reliability, Flexibility
- Attention to detail and overall surroundings
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in teams as well as independently
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation
- Reside in/around the Rhode Island Area
- Required tools (list will be provided)
