Role Summary:
The Lead Evendale Engine Test Technician will be will be a hands-on self-starter responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility along with supporting rig installation, de-prep and testing in the Combustion Labs.

Essential Responsibilities:
In addition, as the Evendale Engine Test Technician, you will:

Support and perform work in compliance to all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies and regulations
Interface with external organizations & internal supporting functions to define program schedules and test plans that support business needs
Work under limited supervision while being proficient in troubleshooting, testing, assembly, disassembly and performing visual inspections
Act as a project leader on specific tasks within Aero & Combustion Test
Facilitate interaction of staff members with each other and external organizations
Periodically prepare and implement supporting work plans to update equipment to enhance lab capabilities
Assist the Team Leader or manager in planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance activities

Qualifications/Requirements:
Associate’s Degree from an accredited school or institution in an applicable technical discipline {i.e. Aviation Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Technology, Chemical Technology, etc.} (Or a high school diploma / GED with two years of work experience in a manufacturing or testing environment)

Strong oral and written communication skills
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Demonstrated initiative
Demonstrated success in a cross-functional team environment
Experience working in a jet engine testing environment
