Position Summary: Oversees warehouse operations at facility including shipping and receiving of packaged and bulk materials or goods, organizing and maintaining inventory, and supervising the day-to-day activities of warehouse staff. Responsible for shipping and receiving materials within plant. Operates industrial powered lift equipment.

Essential Functions:
Establishes and maintains operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, and handling and disposition of materials.
Ensures bulk and package trucks are properly loaded for the next day s deliveries.
Removes inbound freight from carrier.
Checks for shipping damage.
Uses bar code scanners to log inbound shipments into inventory and select and remove material from stock in accordance with order picking list.
Resolves discrepancies discovered in shipping and receiving.
Wraps orders; balances and marks pallets.
Double checks all orders for accuracy.
Completes required Inventory Control cycle counts.
Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Reports and or manages needed repairs and requisitions.
Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection.
Operates hi-lo.
Maintains a clean and orderly warehouse.
Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Prepares and conducts annual performance evaluations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Hi-lo and warehouse experience
Experience with inventory management systems and barcoding preferred
Experience with Microsoft Outlook
Experience hooking and unhooking tractor - trailors
Excellent attendance record
Self-motivated, goal oriented and punctual
Possess ability to perform warehouse functions
Ability to regularly lift and move 10-70 pounds and roll a drum up to 500 pounds
