TRISTONE has recently begun construction on a new Manufacturing facility in Mooresville. We are currently hiring for a for a Production Planner to ensure effective Production Planning and Control to meet customer requirements (Mix and Volume), considering cost efficiency and on time delivery.

Key functions:
Plan and control production according to customer requirements
Ensure product is being produced on time at lowest cost
Calculate best arrangements to use resources such as personnel and materials
Communicate corresponding sections of plans to production area supervisors and Managers
Ensure plans are being followed
Authorize, plan and control when changes are required; defines priorities and controls implementation
Implement systems to facilitate the adjustment of production according to customer requirements
Ensure key performance indicators are captured, analyzed and reported along with improvement action items.
Responsible for sequencing the jobs for optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Set up and analyses matrix to assist in finding opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate scheduling based on availability factors for has equipment set-ups and maintenance planned downtime.

Profile requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent combined accreditation and work experience
Minimum 3-5 years in a scheduling function in an industrial environment
Working knowledge of SAP system
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Collaborative decision making skills
Effectively communicates goals and interplay of ideas and concepts
Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
Self-directed with a sense of urgency
Highly organized
