Soak up the sun and smell the flowers while weeding, raking, digging, edging, pruning, blowing about 50 residential gardens in Bend plus cleanups and garden installations. Badass women especially encouraged to apply. Position is seasonal, with a flexible work schedule mostly weekdays 8:30-4 (set your own schedule/hours after orientation), March through early December. This is a FINE GARDENING position, not mow and blow. You must be a self-starter, have a positive/growth mindset attitude, interested in learning proper techniques, responsive to feedback, enjoy working hard and swift as a team and solo while also having fun, have attention to detail, a positive attitude, be honest, friendly, helpful, and reliable, able to lift and carry 50 lbs short distances, work in outdoor temperatures, safety oriented, have reliable transportation (a truck is a bonus!) and valid drivers license, have a smartphone for communication and time sheet app, your own hand tools (hand pruner, weeding tool, small rake, bucket), pass a background check, maintain clean and professional appearance and demeanor, and potentially obtain a business license to work with me as an independent contractor after working over 40h (I'm happy to help you with the license stuff). Starting pay $18 per hour, negotiable depending upon experience; incremental raises up to $27/h upon demonstrated performance, independence, and duties.
