Summary / Responsibilities – Account Manager The primary function of the Account Manager is to be responsible for the management of existing & new customers in determining their needs, preparing quotes, and processing orders received. This specialist must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and works directly with our customers. The successful candidate will have the ability to efficiently and professionally identify our customers’ needs, sell our products, and provide great customer service through the supply chain cycle. Duties include:

  • Performs sales order generation by using the current sales processes and techniques such as telemarketing, face-to-face selling and participating in marketing/sales events to successfully close jobs/orders with minimal mistakes or omissions.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office 2010 Suite Software and relevant sales systems technology such as CRM’s and work order processing systems.
  • Prepare quotes, work orders, identifying design and material requirements, and emphasizing schedule requirements, determining cost of order and appropriate sales price. This will include occasional travel to offsite locations to gather this information.
  • Assist the marketing and sales departments on ways to improve the inside sales related processes.
  • Utilizes customer service techniques, from beginning to end of each job, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adapts easily to a fast paced environment while processing numerous customer orders and requests simultaneously.

Job Requirements:


  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to be able to drive to and from job locations to collect viable customer information occasionally.


  • Minimum of one (1) year prior experience with customer service and/or sales.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Professional communication and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of sales and customer service techniques.
  • Must work harmoniously with Management, Co-workers, Customers, Vendors and the General Public.
  • Ability to follow instructions while taking initiative in directing one’s own work.
  • Must have above average organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Requires the ability to utilize and understand mathematical calculations and measuring techniques.

Physical Requirements:

This position interacts with customers, vendors and the general public. Therefore, a neat and business-casual appearance is required.

Working Conditions:

Hours are M-F from 7:30 am-4:30 pm with occasional overtime and weekends required. Works primarily in an office environment with some exposure to the production area.


$40,000/yr (based on experience level) + Benefits after 90 days include health, dental & IRA.
