The Institute for Family Health is seeking a dynamic, experienced outreach/education/engagement coordinator to help promote the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program (AoU) to patients at all of our health center locations. The coordinator will work under the Institute’s Director of Community Health.
Promote the National Institutes of Healths All of Us Research Program (AoU) at Institute health centers and community events
Implement strategies to disseminate information regarding AoU
Provide education about AoU to Institute patients
Suggest self-enrollment in AoU and facilitate using wi-fi enabled laptop and cell phone
Track number of people engaged through in-person promotion of AoU
Analyze responses to in-person promotion
Promote enrollment in MyChart electronic patient portal
Enroll and track interested patients in MyChart
Assist with program evaluation activities
Bachelors degree from an accredited academic institution, or significant experience in patient engagement or outreach coordination and community health
Experience working with and outreaching to low-income, medically underserved immigrants in urban communities
Fluent proficiency in spoken and written Spanish
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong initiative and ability to work independently
Proficient with major office computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and email software programs
Ability to travel to Institute health centers and other locations as needed
