Strategic Account Manager

The role of a Strategic Account Manager is to implement specific product and brand initiatives at large multi-door retailers by leading sell-in and sell-through activities. You will achieve profitable growth within assigned accounts through collaboration and analytical business planning.
Deliver revenue and margin targets by negotiating placement of established sales plan
Create and execute consumer business unit strategies through collaboration with Sales Planners and Account Managers
Ensure sell-thru success of directed assortment using analytical insights and marketing assets
Deliver flawless order flows through partnership with Account Service Reps
Be the voice of product priorities while ensuring that the sales team and appropriate partners are aligned and business plans are executed in coordination
Prepare and deliver persuasive product presentations
Maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts to influence and execute account plans
Follow established Order Book Management processes to ensure timely order acquisition and delivery
5-10 years’ experience in sales and account management; experience in athletic industry or consumer product goods a plus
Strong financial acumen with an understanding of retail metrics
Proven ability to utilize analytics to improve sell-in and sell-thru performance
Understanding of Athletic Footwear and Apparel retail landscape
Power user of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Work, and
Demonstrated collaborative orientation in team environments and a very high level of personal efficiency
