Financial Analyst


Avis Budget Group operates two of the most recognized brands in the global vehicle rental industry through Avis Rent A Car System, LLC (Avis), Budget Rent a Car System, Inc. and Budget Truck Rental (Budget). We are currently searching for a dedicated Financial Analyst to work at our Ft. Lauderdale, Fl location.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing financial calculations and providing various reports and summaries relevant to the Southeast Area’s finance function. The position will be responsible for but not be limited to: Monitoring and analyzing business trends and forecasts for both the organization and its competitors using publicly available data; providing financial data for both Avis, Budget and Payless brands to organization’s management, corporate functions and auditors. Essential duties and responsibilities, show below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform various financial calculations, including rate of return, budgeting, depreciation, working capital, P&L, investment, and other financial and expense performance comparisons.
Create specified ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts of financial data.
Model various financial conditions related to the organization’s business operations.
Forecast, analyze, and provide summary of the organization’s trends in sales, finance, and the general business conditions.
Track economic models related to the organization’s operational performance.
Provide financial information and support to the organization’s management, corporate functions, and also positions within the organization’s field operations.
Work with the organization’s IT function to develop reporting and tracking systems to accurately compile and manage financial data.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
2 years experience in Corporate Finance or Accounting function.
The successful candidate must be willing to and/or possess the following:

Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile, interpret and summarize data.
Knowledge of financial calculations, reporting, and valuation methodologies.
Detail oriented with strong aptitude for problem solving.
Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical & computer skills, Excel and Word is a MUST
Oracle, Tableau, SQL and Macro skills a plus.
