About Summerlin Hospital:
Summerlin Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Job Description:
Performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and treatment of patients at UHS facilities. Candidate focuses performance to ensure the safest and best possible patient experience. Candidate delivers exceptional service to all customers that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance. Candidate assists UHS HTM leadership with developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships. Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.

Education:
An Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology or degree in electronic engineering technology and related experience in repairs and troubleshooting of medical equipment or equivalent military or technical training.

Experience:
Three to five years experience working in hospital Biomedical/Clinical Engineering department

Technical Skills:
Understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local)

Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.

License/Certification:
ACI Certification Required (CBET, CRES, CLES or CHTM)
