We’re looking for you: a strategy consultant who can identify an organization’s long-term goals and show it how to achieve them.
This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on government clients. As a Strategy Consultant on our team, you’ll engage with client staff to research and analyze their organization’s needs, goals, and potential growth areas. You’ll need to ask the right questions to draw out your client’s objectives and vision. You’ll provide analytical support to your team as they show clients their organization from the outside. From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, your team will provide your client with a holistic view of their organization and the multiple paths they can take to evolve and improve their capabilities. 2+ years of experience with conducting competitive intelligence research, open-source research, social media analysis, or market research
Knowledge of Internet-based research, including Boolean logic, search engine, and database resources, and Internet sources, including social media, social networking tools, and commercial- and industry-based databases
Ability to ramp up on a range of topics quickly, including geopolitical dynamics, cultural studies, foreign policy, financial systems, and financial crime
Ability to comprehend complex requirements and questions about work topics and find information on the Internet that answers those questions
Ability to produce deliverables in a short time frame using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with researching in a foreign language and international-focused websites
Experience with technology scouting, supply chain risk assessments, or economic threat intelligence
Experience with Python or equivalent analytic and data manipulation tools
Knowledge of intelligence and law enforcement databases
Knowledge of financial, economic, or investment intelligence
Ability to leverage data manipulation, analysis, and visualization software tools to prototype solutions addressing challenging client questions rapidly
MA or MS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Linguistics, Economics, Library Studies, Cultural Studies, Regional Studies, or research-related fields preferred
