Position summary:

Exit Planning Institute (EPI) is a professional education company with operations headquartered in Westlake, Ohio. The Office Assistant executes administrative assignments and ongoing operational functions, including (but not limited to) bookkeeping, shipping, inventory, property maintenance, vendor relations, and record keeping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. From scheduling client meetings, to communicating between departments, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner. The EPI Office Assistant is a great team player and supports departments with administrative and office culture projects that help the company run more smoothly.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Answer phones and direct calls with a positive attitude and an energetic work ethic
  • Maintain office cleanliness
  • Order office supplies and provide inventory control system
  • Maintain monthly inventory and purchasing requests for office supplies
  • Maintain monthly inventory and reprint needs for Walking to Destiny
  • Package and ship CEPA pre-read materials to customers
  • Package and ship event materials and equipment
  • Package and ship tradeshow and exhibit collateral and equipment
  • Coordinate and manage property maintenance services
  • Complete data entry projects with a high level of accuracy
  • Create, print, ship, and digitally store all individual certificates of completion for program attendees
  • Process, organize, and distribute post-event survey data
  • Coordinate appointments, calls, notes, and workshops on behalf of Vice President as requested

Position qualifications and skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years’ office administrative experience required
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Good note-taking habits and proven ability to follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
