We are seeking a creative, collaborative, business-oriented and technically-savvy Product Owner to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will have responsibility for executing product strategy within our demand generation verticals.
This position offers a high degree of collaboration where you will work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver product solutions based on our product roadmap. After gathering, defining, and prioritizing requirements, you will work hand-in-hand with the technology team to bring the best ideas to market quickly and cost effectively. You will be encouraged to bring your own insights and ideas to help enhance our products and expand our portfolio.

What you'll do
Serve as the Product Owner for our demand generation business, translating the product roadmap into an actionable, prioritized backlog of well-defined user stories for our Agile development team to execute against.
Work with UX on design to create wireframes and mockups.
Lead requirements gathering effort on the epics as needed - consulting with product management, engineering, customers, and other stakeholders.
Document story details based on the epics after reviewing with development.
Write detailed (technical) acceptance criteria and answer questions from developers.
Lead bug and issue triage.
Attend scrum meetings including standups, retrospectives, and demo.
Lead backlog refinement to decompose and estimate stories.
Document the new feature for implementations and release notes.
Demonstrate the latest iterations to stakeholders and gather feedback.
Essential skills and experience
2+ years of web-based product owner experience in B2C environments with a record of successful product launches and iterations
Background and expertise in demand generation, SaaS, e-commerce, ad servers, recommendation engines, consumer web experiences, and/or similar technology
Proven success in creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog, executing against a product roadmap, and working with development teams on technical product requirements
Experience and preference for working in an Agile development environment as a Product Owner or similar role
Practical understanding of conversion rate optimization, A/B and multivariate testing tools and techniques, and the ability to draw insights from experiments
Experience creating/understanding technical requirements involving things like database design, server-side APIs, frontend development, and website interactions.
Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope technical requirements
MBA with undergraduate degree in computer science or similar technical focus is preferred; combination of experience and formal college education will be considered
Beneficial skills and experience
A background in B2C demand generation will set you apart
Pragmatic Marketing / Scrum Product Owner Certifications a plus
Working knowledge of performance marketing, lead generation, SEM, SEO, and other digital marketing techniques and technology is highly beneficial
