ACV Enviro is looking to add an experienced Administrative Assistant in Elizabeth, NJ

Must have experience with Billing, Payroll and expense reports.

Job Description

SUMMARYProvide administrative/office support to the General Manager of Industrial Services. Assist others, as needed.


Assist with calls, mail, schedules, communications, and other clerical functions for managers·

Coordinate and manage travel arrangements as needed.·

Coordinate and complete month end reports for Management Meetings (MD&As)·

Meet and greet customers·

Answer phones, photocopy·

Audit, reconcile and prepare expense reports and credit card statements·

Maintain appointment/ agenda calendar and other organizational items for the GM of Industrial Services and other Managers, as needed.·

Assist with weekly payroll·

Assist with Human Resource projects

Performs other, related duties as assigned.These are duties which may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA)To perform the duties of this job, the employee must have good interpersonal skills; be patient and tactful; display an enthusiastic, cooperative and friendly attitude at all times with managers/supervisors, co-workers, visitors, customers and clients. Must be able to maintain high business ethics internally and externally. Ability to communicate effectively with all employees, as well as corporate staff and executive management.


High school diploma or GED equivalent·

Minimum three years experience·

Friendly personality·

Dependable/Reliable and ability to maintain confidentiality·

Experience dealing with customers

Excellent computer skills required- specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook·

Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills·

Excellent oral and written communication skills·

Ability to work independently·

Ability to work within a team environment and handle multiple tasks·

Professional appearance and demeanor·

Ability to work in fast paced, high stress atmosphere·

Good oral communication skills to clearly understand and convey other’s message and intent, and receives and processes feedback. Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions and work manuals.

Required education: High school or equivalent
