Work You’ll Do
Focus on risk mitigation and operational performance. Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Provide deep industry and compliance knowledge to clients. Support technology platform to manage complex commercial operations. Work directly with the software engineering team to test and validate new features. Identify and report issues discovered. Recommend opportunities for improvement by collecting and analyzing metrics. Design and build automated test frameworks and test suites for use in development and testing cycle. Participate in design reviews and code reviews/inspections. Perform manual testing, encompassing all functionality of services, as a prequel to automation.
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Eighteen months of experience performing data analytics in the healthcare and life sciences industries.
Experience must include eighteen months of:
Making recommendations for improvements based on performance metrics, and participating in architecture, design, reviews and code inspections;
Developing large scale applications on both frontend and backend systems;
Analyzing and performing system design to meet client requirements, and analyzing reported issues from clients and identifying impacted software services;
Designing storage, retrieval and analysis of big data using relational databases, including Postgresql, and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra;
Deploying services to cloud providers, including Azure and AWS;
Writing unit tests using frameworks, including pytest and nose, and implementing test driven development;
Collaborating with product management and UX to support business needs to product SDLC teams and identify solutions for meeting requirements;
Developing and enhancing product delivery methods, and designing software user interface components; and
Mentoring and training junior team members, including review of their work.
