Under minimal supervision, provide color matching, formulating, and small batch blending support on-site at the given customer location. Produce and quality control inks to ensure the product meet or exceed the customer?s expectations. Maintain detailed production and quality control records. Support customer?s schedule through production coordination. Work safely and maintain good housekeeping. Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting. Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales organization. Effectively participate in the operation of a SUN manufacturing site supplying inks to multiple local customers as needed. Have the ability to tactfully interact with each customer professionally through both written and oral communication. A working knowledge in SAP is important and computer literacy working in MS programs are a must. Ideally this individual will be a leader and be able to arrange support, delegate, and engage to support customer needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed customer specifications. Maintain detailed production and QC records.

Review batch ticket formulas and identify rework opportunities
Maintain good housekeeping and safe operations.
Provide strong press-side technical suppor
Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to the CTS and Sales Organization
Establishes daily ink production schedule based on customer?s press schedule, including inventory control (ordering/receiving of inks)
Builds and implements action plans related to best practice strategies and implementation within the in-plant assignment
Provides technical guidance to determine areas of approach to problem resolution related to application of our products on the press
Works as technical advisor to eliminate root cause of day-to-day press room problems. Once root cause is identified, will set-up training to make sure all are aware of the problem resolutions. High School Diploma or equivalent Strong customer service skills

Industry experience 3 to 5 years w/strong pressroom and printing process knowledge.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good computer skills. Proficient Excel and Outlook skills a plus
Versed in a variety of dispensing software (i.e. Novaflow, Mixmaster, etc.) and color
matching technologies (i.e. X-Rite, GSL, etc.)
