The TPM position represents engineering as the Point of Contact, responsible for the project management of the technical development program. The ideal candidate provides program-wide focus for systems, subsystems and product development. The position requires a thorough understanding of the engineering development process through all phases of development in order to create an avionics system that exceeds customer expectations. This position is for strong candidates willing to challenge the status quo to ensure that the team is able to overcome daily hurdles to achieve success.
Program planning and execution with responsibility for performance to budget and schedule
Managing program-level scope and change management
Serve as a key customer and vendor interface
Collaborate with other CS/GS/International program teams to ensure consistent execution methods and utilization of best practices.
Lead pursuit efforts to capture future efforts

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
Project leadership of large multi-discipline engineering teams
Experience managing customer relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Active security clearance
Ability to Travel to Customer Site for debugging of issues (10% of the total project effort)
JIRA or other ALM tools
DOORS or Jama for requirements management
Familiarity with CMMI compliance
Software Engineering experience
This position requires good oral and written communication skills, strong teamwork skills, and the desire to participate on a results-oriented team of Systems, Hardware and Software Engineers.
