Job Overview: We are seeking Night Shift Stockers to join our team and support our retail store operations during the overnight hours. The primary responsibility of the Night Shift Stocker is to ensure that all merchandise is stocked and displayed in a neat and organized manner. This position offers potential for growth within the company and opportunities to move up into higher-level roles.
Responsibilities:
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks and transport it to the sales floor using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise in an organized and visually appealing manner.
- Ensure that all merchandise is labeled and priced correctly.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise and answer questions about product availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor.
- Collaborate with the Night Shift Supervisor and other team members to meet daily stocking goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols, including proper use of equipment and handling of merchandise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a stocker or similar role preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
