We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with cashier duties in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products
- Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone
- Utilize phone etiquette when handling customer calls
- Promote sales by recommending additional items or special promotions
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
- Knowledge of product sales techniques and upselling strategies

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
