Cannabis Brand Ambassador

As the SoHo Experiential Cannabis Brand Ambassador, you’ll report to the Ambassador Director and support the in market sales team across Maryland. The Cannabis BA must be comfortable working autonomously and being the face of the brand for both dispensaries and patients. You will be empowered to develop client relationships, support dispensary employees and budtenders. The right candidate must have a desire to travel within Maryland and weekend work is required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with dispensaries, employees, and budtenders
  • Thoughtfully represent the brand at activations as the expert on the product line, intakes, etc.
  • Communicate with agency and client regarding activation schedules
  • Execute in-store patient events weekly at key dispensaries across the market, working with store management to meet and exceed expectations
  • Educate patients about clients product line, providing in-depth knowledge about superior production process, terpenes, entourage effect, product assortment and general cannabis/efficacy information
  • Lead budtender and pharmacist educational trainings (small and large) at key dispensaries across the market
  • Track engagement, preferences, and patient/budtender feedback
  • Network to build trusting relationships with potential brand partners and clients
  • Engage in weekly calls with Ambassador Director and client outlining success and opportunity of the week prior and week ahead
  • Maintain accurate tracking and management of market activation budget
  • Submit all administrative items by deadline including: timesheets, expenses, recaps and event photos

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Extensive Cannabis science and medicine expertise
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative, brand ambassador or similar role (experience in retail sales is a plus)
  • Energetic, engaging and friendly with a passion for education and the cannabis industry
  • Must have an excellent eye for detail and extemporaneous speaking skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, be motivated, and a self starter
  • Excellent and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage and achieve KPI’s
  • Cannabis knowledge not mandatory but strongly desired
  • Ability to collect and interpret data for key insights and strategic evolution
  • Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Must be able to sit, stand or be mobile for multiple hours without difficulty
  • Fluent in English
