Cardinal IP is actively seeking .Net Backend Developer who wants to join our fast-growing technology team. It is a great opportunity for somebody who is interested in long term professional engagement and willing to be involved in building next generation of web applications working with the latest technologies.
The Engineer is responsible for developing .NET, web-based software solutions. This development will occur in an Agile environment, typically in fixed-length sprints, with regular interactions with Product Owners and other team members. The Software Engineer is expected to produce high-quality software, to function effectively as a member of a team, to interact with management and other members of the development group, and to continually seek to improve themselves and the company. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis activities such as storyboarding, developing use cases, and creating functional requirements specifications.
Serve as technical expert on development projects
Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
Support, maintain, and document software functionality
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
Required Skills and Abilities
6-10 years’ of experience in a backend .NET role
.Net/.Net core, MVC, and RestFul API experience required
Experience with patterns such as Façade, CQRS and UnitOfWork.
Proficient understanding of database (MSSQL), Indexes, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Interest with Azure development
What you should have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related
Interest to learn new technology (Azure Cloud services, Microservices, etc.)
