Skogman Homes, Eastern Iowa’s largest home builder, is looking for the best and most talented new home sales individuals to represent one of our communities in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor. Start your real estate career with base pay plus commission along side the best new homes sales consultants in the area. Our sales staff sells more new homes than any other sales staff in Eastern Iowa. Skogman Homes has sold over 100 homes year for over 30 years. Our average commission is $4000-6000 per sale to our Community Sales Managers.

We are looking for a full-time Sales Associate to work within our growing neighborhoods and become a Community Manager. Along with excellent compensation, we offer industry-leading sales training and provide personal development plans that lead to career advancement opportunities.

This is a salaried position with commission opportunities. Our typical agents receive paid training for 3-6 months before becoming full time community sales managers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Community Manager’s primary role is to capture and convert customers that walk into our model homes by utilizing our sales process
  • Community Manager’s also assists in driving traffic to the model homes through marketing initiatives
  • Utilize the training received to greet and qualify prospects, demonstrate the features and benefits of the area and community, overcome objections, create urgency and close customers
  • Implement the Skogman Homes OPS Cycle™ to optimize your community operation and maximize the selling opportunity
  • Drive traffic and enhance community awareness through events and promotions at our model homes.
  • Manage and maintain a customer follow up system and employ CRM to report traffic, marketing awareness, community inventory, sales, and closing activity
  • Work closely with the client’s operating, construction, service, and lending teams to create a seamless and smooth sales transaction
  • Manage social media accounts to drive brand awareness

Qualifications and Skills

  • Polished professional with excellent work ethic and positive, team oriented attitude.
  • Honest, high integrity and desire to earn a high income
  • Real Estate license will be required but is not required to apply. 100% of our Community Managers did not have a real estate license when they started
  • Must be able to work most weekend afternoons from 1-5pm
