Position: Angular Developer Intern

High Level Job Description:
STP Investment Services is seeking a motivated and quick-learning Angular Developer Intern. This newly added role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience with one of the world’s leading front-end development technologies. An Angular Developer Intern will gain valuable working experience in the software development industry while working alongside veterans of the industry.
A successful candidate will be concurrently enrolled in a University pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Preferred candidates will have experience working with various modern web technologies. Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision within a structured environment, possess excellent teamwork, organization, troubleshooting and communication skills. Additionally, a successful candidate will be enthusiastic, curious, and proud of their work. Self-motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential skills in our dynamic environment.
An Angular Developer Intern will perform a wide range of tasks related to the development of new applications and the maintenance of current applications. They will work closely with and be supported by a small team of developers. They will be responsible for learning Angular best practices and applying them to their work in order to create clean and maintainable code.
Concurrently enrolled in a University pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3.0 GPA or higher
Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the tech team, including the ability to effectively use various collaboration, source control, documentation and bug tracking tools
Ability to create clean, efficient, self-documenting code as well as provide meaningful documentation where needed. Ability to code in a modular fashion
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills are mandatory
Preferred understanding of software testing involving documenting test cases, test results, and bug resolution
Passionate about new technologies, libraries, API’s and designing state of the art software solutions
