Full Job Description
There is an opening for a PRN pharmacist who will provide direct patient care in the ATU. This position may be scheduled at both Parkview Regional Medical Center ATU and Parkview Randallia ATU. ATU pharmacists manage anticoagulation via point of care testing during scheduled anticoagulation visits, working alongside other pharmacists. Within the anticoagulation clinic, pharmacists also perform enoxaparin bridging and manage warfarin for home INR patients. In addition, the anticoagulation clinic provides management services for the direct oral anticoagulants. Pharmacists work alongside pharmacy technicians who function at a high level: contacting patients about appointments, managing clinic intakes and assisting with day to day clinic operations.
