Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst. This positionreports to the Financial Reporting Manager and will be located in Herndon, VA.
This position will interact with various sector, division and corporate staff to solve reporting issues and meet reporting requirements.

Responsibilities include:
Assist with the sector monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables
Coordinate and consolidate financial statements
Maintain month-end closing documentation
Assist with preparation of year-end financial reporting packages and tax packages
Prepare financial statement analytics and other quarterly management reports
Provide audit support related to SOX, internal and external financial statement audits
Maintain the Financial Reporting department's SOX documentation and evidence of the operation of controls
Provide financial reporting support for other reporting projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field orfour (4)additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge of financial statements and general accounting principles
Experience using MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to work independently, requiring minimal guidance and support

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying level of management
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
