Corporate Sourcing and Procurement (CSP) team partners with business areas, as trusted advisors and business facilitators, to provide leading sourcing strategies and expertise, to manage risk and maximize the total value returned from a diverse set of vendors.
CSP is at the forefront of major company initiatives with primary responsibility for negotiations, risk assessment, contracting and ongoing vendor management of the organization’s third-party vendor contracts. Using contemporary technology platforms, the CSP team partners with vendors in a manner that manages risk while providing the best value for the negotiated price. A strategic transformation is underway to move to a new operating model, focusing on mindset, approach and tools to drive value through effective risk management, spend optimization and speed to market.
The Lead Manager – CSP Transformation Project Management will drive the successful delivery of the Corporate Sourcing and Procurement transformation, according to measures of time, budget, scope, quality and relationship. Conducts research and analysis to build related business cases (including quantifying cost and benefits, identifying risks and mitigation strategies) and develops formal recommendations for presentation to management. Works with cross‐department stakeholders to identify and propose solutions to business issues and lays out plans to implement those solutions. Develops detailed project schedules and gains buy‐in from stakeholders. Develops status updates for management. Leads efforts to develop new or revised processes/procedures with a strong focus on controls within processes.
Lead projects and workstreams that are clearly communicated and implemented timely and accurately
Lead cross-organizational project teams to work collaboratively to accomplish a common goal
Deliver detailed metrics and reporting framework to manage and measure project success
Document and share risks, issues and mitigation plans to key stakeholders throughout project delivery
Partner and influence across the CSP team and lines of business to ensure successful implementation
Support change management to ensure adoption to new processes or technology
Guide and direct workstream leads
Demonstrated working knowledge of project planning & execution methodologies
General understanding of sourcing and procurement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinker with ability to analyze problems and data to drive timely results
Ability to facilitates meetings and communicate results to peers and executive management
Strong meeting management and presentations skills and comfortable presenting ideas and influencing others at all levels of the organization
Develops and maintains effective working relationships within the team and across business areas.
