Full Job Description
The successful candidate will collaborate and innovate with architects, software engineers, site reliability engineers and quality engineers. They will be designing, implementing, and testing software projects for Everbridge’s Risk Data Ingest platform used by our (RIMC) Risk Intelligence Monitoring Center analyst team. The candidate will support, troubleshoot, and integrate software solutions in the AWS cloud. Creation and execution of unit tests, and the running of integration and functional tests is required. The candidate must have the ability to drive software projects, while working with a remote team, using Zoom, Slack, email, and other collaboration tools.
What you'll do:
Drive software projects from the design phase to customer ready solutions in production.
Design, implement, integrate, build, deploy via an automated pipeline and maintain software components running in AWS.
Active participation in agile based scrum ceremonies including daily standup meetings, grooming meetings, review meetings, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
Completion of commitments on schedule.
Collaborate with other engineers to accomplish individual, team and company objectives.
Creation of software solutions that meet or exceed Everbridge’s security and quality requirements.
