As a Business Analyst, you will server as a liaison between IT and business end-users. Work with business to analyze business requirements and covert them into User Stories, EPICs. You will closely working with Product Owners and Technology leads to ensure requirements are captured and understood for the Sprint delivery expectations.
Ensure QA team have everything they need to have to complete their test plans. You also have a bigger role in defect research and production validations as needed.
You are in constant pace to:
- Gather requirements and build backlog
- Lead/Participate in Backlog grooming sessions
- Lead/Participate in Backlog schooling sessions
- Ensure stores have stories for Technology to deliver and Testers to test
- Educate business on continual basis on Agile methodologies
- Ability to juggle between high visibility projects and at times research production defects and issues
- Always be ready for the next challenging project
Experience with Agile
Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience in software development
3+ years of work experience or major in Information Technology
Experience with developing User Stories, Process Flows, Use Cases and other SDLC deliverables.
Ability to play the role of a SCRUM master as needed
Data flow, Sequence Diagrams, or other diagramming tools and models
Coordinate testing between QA and UAT teams
Tools like - Blueprint, JIRA, Confluence, Visio etc.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
