Munitions Portfolio Communications Specialist

As a defense mission professional, you’ll bring your strategic, tactical, and technical munitions background to work on the development of Insensitive Munitions Strategic Plans (IMSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for identified priority munitions for the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force. You’ll analyze, assess, plan, and support the Joint Services Insensitive Munitions Technical Panel (JSIMTP) mission and facilitate Quarterly Meetings. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate processes, and maintain the Department of Defense (DoD) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for IMSP and POA&M improvement. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes related to Insensitive Munitions.
You’ll impact the work we do for the warfighter and the solutions we deliver for defense planning, national security, and the national defense strategy.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with working for the DoD, Joint Staff, or a Service-level staff office developing executive-level briefings and deliverables
Experience with conducting strategic communication activities involving Service PEOs, PMs, and industry
Experience with evaluating and overseeing project execution of near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments
Experience with developing written products, information papers, and presentations
Experience with collecting, analyzing, and presenting data for senior-level clients on technical, policy, or functional issues
Knowledge of Munitions, Fuzes, and Fuzing Technology
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
