Come work for a growing and thriving start-up company! Agency VA enables insurance agencies to put their insurance service on autopilot. We are a profitable and recently funding company that is moving to grow rapidly over the next year. For our agency clients, we take care of all of their agency service work including but not limited to:
- Daily carrier activities
- Policy quoting
- Inbound/Outbound phone calls
- Processing endorsements and billing activities
We are looking for experienced customer service agents to provide day-to-day customer service and quoting for our clients. This position requires a motivated self-starter who is comfortable in a work-from-home environment. This particular position requires a candidate to have commercial insurance experience. Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Duties: To be successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Answer customer phone calls quickly and respond to emails.
- Process customer policy change requests.
- Secure all Trailing Documents from customers for new policies.
- Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
- Complete Mortgagee/Evidence of Insurance requests.
- Document each customer contact in Agency Management System
- Take premium payments from customers.
- Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
- Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
- Return all phone messages promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
- Claims follow up calls.
- Set up new client files
- Meet established daily goals for new quotes and re-shops
- Handle carrier daily downloads
Qualifications:
- Commercial lines experience is REQUIRED
- Cyber insurance experience is preferred
- 5 years minimum commercial lines experience
- Experience with independent agencies is a HUGE PLUS
- Must have a valid P&C License
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in an organized method
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with agency management software applications
- Knowledge and understanding of endorsements required in personal insurance
- Strong competency in Microsoft office products
- Ability to perform critical thinking and reasoning.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
