The Valet Attendant is a customer service position that involves parking and retrieving cars for guests at Wilson Lodge. They provide excellent customer service when the guest arrives by greeting them and opening their car door. They are in charge of ticketing the car/keys, doing a quick inspection of the car and parking it in the designated parking area. Valet will also retrieve cars when the guest is ready to depart and give great customer service upon leaving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Promptly greet guest upon arrival and open guest doors.

Park and retrieve guest vehicles promptly.

Ensure vehicle safety.

Manage valet parking tickets/guest keys.

Inspect guest cars for pre-existing damage and notate on valet ticket.

Direct traffic in parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving parking lot.

Answer guests’ questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities and offerings

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
