Full Job Description
Assemblers are responsible for building various landing gears and components in accordance with AAR and OHM requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have basic tools.
Handling of non-toxic and toxic chemicals and/or substances
Closing and servicing shock struts
Installing bracketry and electrical harness
Perform all tasks in assembly procedures.
Familiar with all different type of landing gears
Understand manual, Assembly procedures
All other duties as assigned
Compensation based on experience.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanically inclined
Have working knowledge of technical specifications in order to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Quality Procedures Manual (QPM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Overhaul Manual (OHM), Service Bulletins (SB), and Airworthiness Directives (AD) specifications and/or customer requirements.
Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment
Must be able to read, write and speak English
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Must have a minimum of 1-5 years Landing Gear experience
A&P License a plus
