Creative Partner - Copywriter (R-19-1043)
Develops a wide array of copy to help tell the PGE story. Actively helps express the PGE brand through the use of brand voice and articulation of brand experience principles and values.
You will support our journey by:
Develops copy for projects; maintains consistent brand standards; decides which guidelines apply to each project.
Collaborates with communications teams to assess client needs, decide appropriate deliverables and establish timeframes; determines time needed for each task and works with communications team to establish overall project timeline.
Ensures deliverables are on time and within budget; prioritizes tasks; ensures projects tell the PGE story, putting customer/audience needs first, highlighting products, programs and PGE’s strategic direction.
Coordinates with internal staff and with vendors (e.g., graphic designers, art directors, copy writers, photographers and printers) to develop and produce print and digital materials.
Requests for Proposal
Assists with and coordinates proposals for creative work (e.g., writing, printing, design); procures, analyzes and negotiates print estimates; ensures sign-offs/approvals and provides regular status reports to team and clients.
You will bring the following skills to our team:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or other related field or equivalent experience.
Typically two or more years writing for both print and digital mediums. Experience creating marketing materials, brand materials, shareholder materials and employee materials preferred.
Working knowledge of and skill in marrying content and design within brand guidelines
Intermediate knowledge of archiving best practices
Working computer skills in systems used in department
Working skills in developing and maintaining systems for file naming, organization and archiving
