The Marketing Specialist supports American Tower’s marketing efforts by planning and executing strategic marketing initiatives with the overall goal of launching new products and solutions, driving demand, and enhancing brand credibility. The incumbent works closely with the Senior Manager, Marketing and the Senior Manager, Product Marketing to develop and execute marketing project plans with associated budgets and key performance indicators.
Together with the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, plan and develop marketing programs based on market intelligence gathered from internal and external research and consultation with subject matter experts.
Work with internal stakeholders to develop marketing strategies based on customer needs; write creative briefs for marketing programs; brief creative team on strategy behind program and executional requirements for marketing materials.
Together with the Senior Manager, Marketing and in-house creative team, develop creative marketing materials, including but not limited to print ads, brochures, mailers, newsletters, e-mail promotions, corporate website, microsites, promotional giveaway items, and tradeshow and event materials.
Assist the Senior Manager, Product Marketing with developing marketing content in line with customer needs and work with in-house creative team and outside resources to produce and distribute same.
Manage projects, which will include partnering with creative team throughout the process, soliciting feedback about creative materials from appropriate internal stakeholders, keeping projects on schedule and on budget, and performing any other coordination necessary to ensure flawless execution and production.
Partner with Lead Generation team to establish distribution strategies, success metrics, and appropriate reporting.
Keep abreast of industry activity, including changes in technology, products, and services and changes to corresponding marketing campaigns, both for American Tower and its competitors;

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or other related field strongly preferred
Between 5–7 years’ experience in a Marketing, Advertising, Communications or other related role required
Business-to-business experience preferred
Experience working with internal creative resources or agency to complete creative projects preferred
Digital marketing expertise, along with experience with marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Five percent of the work may take place outdoors or at tradeshow events. Approximately 25% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
