Role ( SABM, Innovation - New Product Development and Brand Structure)
This role will sit on the Strategy & Development team in the Meal Foundations & Coffee division and be responsible for leveraging consumer insights to build breakthrough innovation platforms. After developing innovation strategy, the SABM Innovation will lead the commercialization team to bring these new products to life. This role will also lead the team to develop & implement new breakthrough packaging structures for our iconic brands.
Work with CIS to identify and prioritize platform-specific consumer need
Lead development of whitespace innovation opportunities for the platform based on consumer insights from Ideation
Own commercialization process of bringing concepts to life cross functionally
Lead development of novel packaging structure opportunities to drive differentiation
Coordinate with Equity & Platform teams and GM teams to ensure NPD projects meet brand guidelines, P&L requirements and customer lead times.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
5 to 7 years of experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company
Demonstrated ability to influence teams and excellent interpersonal skills
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Strong organizational and project management skill
Strategic capability and experience in marketing plan development; situation assessment, strategy and tactical plan development
Experience in cross-functional team management
Experience leading commercialization process
Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines
Understanding of Financial P&L
