Works closely with Executive Director and staff to assure messaging and branding are consistent across all marketing platforms and campaigns. Continually builds the brand of MOW West by maintain a strong online presence. Plan and execute marketing campaigns as a team with the Executive Director and the Development Consultant. Employs social media marketing technologies and tools as a means to build relationships with supporters, volunteers and clients and to secure new donors through ongoing engagement.

Work with external partners and cross-functional staff to ensure collaborative, successful, and efficient social marketing and traditional marketing project execution. Participates in planning, research, coordination, execution, and analytics

  • Acts as social media community coordinator for multiple channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Creates and coordinates postings on Facebook utilizing an optimal posting schedule
  • WordPress expertise and experience required
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience required
  • Creative video production and editing required
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Collaborates with ED on the creation and execution of compelling online and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Manages Vertical Response e-mail blasts to 3000+ mailing list as needed to communicate and motivate donor and volunteer communities
  • Assists in the conception of video and manages viral video campaigns
  • Creates online and print graphics and content
  • Takes photos and videos for social sphere and other uses
  • Employs strong digital writing skills to quickly produce compelling copy
  • Creates the online MOW West electronic newsletter through re-purposing the content of the hard copy newsletter and creating new content as needed for distribution via Vertical Response
  • Networks and collaborates with MOW America and additional relevant social service agencies
  • Does analysis of social media, email and list building metrics for campaigns evaluations, funder reports, and as otherwise needed
  • Trains co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Drives support and attendance of fundraising events via online campaigns
  • Events: Assist with events, fundraising and programs
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
  • Additional tasks as needed
  • Job Type: Part-time 20 hrs a week
